What is truth to people?

Truth is when you experience it yourself.

You often believe something when you've experienced it personally; when your prayers are answered, when it gives you peace when your heart and mind are troubled.

Christians, muslims, buddhists, taoists, ...etc.

All claims that their gods give them peace and has seen them through storms.

If they are not lying, is peace just psychological then?

If yes, peace may be felt not only by God's grace.

If not, and if only poured into hearts by God--then what is this 'peace' that they feel?

Does that mean God doesn't exist?

I think I know. God is this big Guy that most religions point to. Christianity says that the way to this Guy, and the ONLY way to this Guy, is via Jesus. Does Islam say the way to God is via Prophet Muhammad? Buddhists claim no 'God'--but rather a kind of transcendence above and beyond all these 'mortally' concerns.

Other religions?

Funny I should ask that--I should know. Since I took the silly World Religions module last semester.

Sigh.

I don't know. How can I know for sure?

How can anyone know anything for sure?

Yet, faith is not built on knowledge, if built at all.

What is faith?

What is knowledge?

Argh! Too much literature. [And yet, questions are good, no?]

Aargh!!! Stop, stop, stop!
