I made a new friend today. It all started on his initiative though. Don't really feel like telling the long story here, but the bottomline is: I made a new friend over breakfast today. Haha.
Was gonna chicken out last minute after I woke up and realized I'm still going to have to croak to talk. The flu's getting worse and my eyes are suffering from 'burnout-from-fever' syndrome. There's no temperature now, but everything still feels like fever to me. [i.e. my eyes are still protesting, my head needs more concussions, my body's just plain burning down, and everything's just about as woozy as it can get.]
In any case, we met up. He is cuter than I imagined, and we chatted quite randomly.
Somewhere during breakfast, it struck me that the world I wanted to explore and discover is still right there. There are so many things I remembered wanting to do. I realized that somewhere along the way, my artistic and life-embracing side got buried and forgotten in the throes of NUS-Ridz.
I guess my new friend's down-to-earthiness reconnected me with the prettier canvases of life.
It's time to stop moping and aimlessly surfing. First stop: Singapore Art Musuem. Yay. :)
[Yes to my buggees*, have a good timeoutfromcat. :D]
Haha. That is,
after I complete my Tourism paper due on Monday.
[Hmmmmm]. It's nice to know where your sun ebbed out to, after so long of groping in the dark.
*person who bugs people=bugger; person who gets bugged=buggee (unless you have a proper word?)
