sometimes, the name is all that matters.
a person signs up to be a tutor. the grades kinda suck. he's not very extraordinary. in fact he's so freaking typical. but flash your RJC pass and suddenly everyone's postrate at your feet begging you to tutor their kid.
seriously sometimes, i dunno how to react after gritting my teeth.
like. a person. so ordinary. dressed shabbily. talk gibberish. crap. fool around. he walks into a serious conference room. no one takes him seriously. suddenly someone mentions ever-so-casually
oh he's now in RJC. WHAM. suddenly he's taken so very very seriously. everything he says oooooozes with wit and intellect. his opinions suddenly matter to the world.
hai. okok i'm griping. i mean. i'm from AJC. the only reaction an AJCian ever get is "
uh?" or "
i'm sorry? what's that?" or a
jeez-that-UH-UH-loser-of-a-school look. ok so i'm definitely griping. but it's just QUITE VERY irritating. CAN. bleagh. *WHAT*ever. yeah.
