have you ever turned so cold that your lips and nails turn purple?
i have. all the time.
my body is highly not-immune to cold blasts from the air-conditioner and prolonged exposure will turn my lips and nails purple. once i was in one of the freezing places in nus and my nails with pale pink nail polish turned PURPLE. those dead, dull, lifeless, purple shade. my fren turned with a disgusted look on her face and remarked cat!!! why you put this colour?!?!! it's so er-xin!!! (er-xin = disgusting). i tried to convince her that it's the cold and she slammed her pink unblemished nails in my face and said my nails are still pink!

dot dots. recently in the exam hall i was freezing my toes off and in addition to lifeless purple nails i've got purple lips too. my fren asked me why i still have the time to put on mauve lipstick for exams.

despite this, i'll choose freezing to death over burning to death anyday. i would like to be so cold that i died, than to wait for the heat to bake me. bah.
