:: mundane updates ::
today (read: friday) was a rollercoaster ride.
slept at 4++am.
woke up at 0810.
realized i'm can't make it for my 9-1030am lecture at biz ad.
slowly prepared to go out, for the 1030-12 tutorial.
you see when you wake up and you don't start the day right, the rest of the day doesn't work out right. you're dazed. you're tranced. you're drifting. you're a lost wanderer.
and so i sat thru my tutorial (which finally had a guy:girl ratio of 1:1)
(and which, i might add, had quite a few eye candies. oh blissful semester!)
bumped into peiching, law student who is too quick with her tongue and opinions.
mused around.
had a lousy spaghetti with ham steak (that was so thick i threw half of it away) topped with mushroom and pepper sauce. (don't eat this it's NOT good at all)
mused around somemore.
watched the people.
thought about people and sociology.
finally came 2 o'clock. went for my other business lecture.
sucky lecturer. sucky lecture.
it's reading directly from the .ppt slides, and showing tables taken from the compulsory textbook.
couldn't endure it till 4pm. besides i hav another engagement at orchard at 5.
so i left nus. in the same mood that i came to nus in.
got to orchard. stupid pigs were not there yet when we decided to meet at four.
waited.
waited.
went toilet.
waited.
waited.
finally they came. with a majority we set off to my hated fastfood chain Mac.
(yucks they're opening a McCafe, no doubt in a desperate attempt to replicate Starbucks and CoffeeBean)
socialized for awhile.
then i couldn't be bothered to continue. so i ate my apple pie and smiled politely at cued pauses.
finished with mac, went back to the station to. WAIT again.
met wendy (previously from ny) -- digression, later.
until finally at 1750 everyone was here.
rushed to the chingay briefing.
my duty was simple enuff -- chk to see the people have tickets before allowing them into the arena.
(at this point i have another nice digression to share, Later)
watched the parade.
the firecrackers were explosively Loud.
anyhow highly recommended! you guyz shd catch it on tv tmr! :):)
finally everything ended on a high note, proceeded back to where we left our bags.
WAIT WAIT WAIT AGAIN.
cant stand it anymore. cheerily and most gaily i bidded farewell and scurried away.
WHERE i am home at last and resting my worn out feet.
