:: on friendships ::
friendships seem to go hand in hand with common ground. it seems as though one cant do without the other. friendships are forged when one is on common ground with the other, and friendships are lost, or dulled, or made bland, once that common ground is lost.
sometimes, it's tiring to keep making new friends.
sometimes, it's horrible to think about, how most people are friends with everyone, simply because they need
company on that certain common ground.
but friends, we can never do without.
jus asked a really good question
here, in the
Socrates Cafe.
"Are friends made or found?"
"Friends are made, then found."
what are true friends then? those who go through thick and thin with you? those who stick by your side
come what may? if two people were bestest and truest friends at one point, drift off for quite a while, but are still able to pick up where they left off after years, are they considered true friends?
...thoughts?
