:: new job ::

got a new job. hee. life is just so full of surprises aint it.
was plannin' to slack all the way till sch starts but apparently life has more in store for me.

for now anyway.

hee. anyway i'm like a governess now. hee. way cool!
what happened was, one fine afternoon, as i was lazing in my big comfy bed, my handphone started vibrating. and lo n behold it's my interviewer from eons ago, beng leong. he asked me if i'm interested in tutoring his kids. of cuz i said ok. but then he said it was like a 8-5 job kinda thing.

basically my job entails making sure the three pesky kids do their homework, help them learn their weekly english and chinese spelling, ensure their personal well-being, play games with them, blah blah blah. it's REALLY fun, and slack, and i think i've played more IQ games and brainteasers in the past two days than i have in years. LOL.

the best is, lunch is provided in the house, transport is juz a train ride, and i get paid $1000!
it's the most fantastic deal i've gotten so far. hee! hooray!

but on a side note....

i really kinda pity the kids. the mummy piled so much work on them that they have totally lost interest in anything that is remotely academically related. fyi, they are in pri ONE, pri TWO, and pri FOUR. The worst is that the youngest kid is having the MOST tuition. i mean, my gosh. sigh.

its tough cuz i havta strike a very fine balance. the p4 kid is lik at his pre-puberty age and tends to get moodswings alot. on the first day he even locked himself in the room refusing to come out, even for his lunch! bleah. i dont really bite you know.

but things are warmin' up now. hee.

ughz. suddenly i feel so maternal. BLEAHZZZZ.
